Admission Policy

As a Primary school, children are admitted into CMPS in the September after their fourth birthday and leave seven years later, at the age of eleven. Parents interested in entering their children to the Reception class should put their child’s name on the waiting list as we have limited spaces in each class.

Please note: the deadline for applications for Reception admission is the first week of December prior to the year you are intending to enrol your child at the school. For example, if your child is starting in September 2023, your application must be made by the first week of December 2022. All applications after the first week of December will be considered as late admissions. We will review late admissions on a case-by-case basis however applications submitted on time will be prioritised over late admissions, based upon our usual framework (which can be found under the ‘Policies’ tab).

We strongly advise that parents secure a back-up place for their child at another independent school or a state school in the event that we are not able to offer your child a place at CMPS.

The registration requirements include:

- Your child's Passport or Birth Certificate

- The completed Registration Form

- Signed Terms & Conditions

- £100 non-refundable Registration Fee

- Your child's latest school report (if applicable)

Applications are considered on the basis of whether we can provide for your child's needs, the availability of spaces in the relevant class, and the interview or admission test. Fees 2023-2024

CMPS is an independent school therefore fees are required to be paid for every child that attends. The fees for this academic year are as follows:

 Reception to Year 6. Currency: GBP (£)

All parents can only pay their child’s school fees by Standing Order if paying on a monthly basis. This is an essential provision to ensure good financial management of our cash flow and ensure our teachers are paid on time.  All parents will be expected to set up a Standing Order at registration before the start of the academic year. Fees will be payable over 11 months of the year. Parents will have the option of paying monthly, termly or annually.
